Join us at the HIMSS Innovation & Conference Center to celebrate making it half-way through the work week-- with snacks, drinks and great views of Lake Erie! It’s the perfect way to unwind as you keep up on new topics at the intersection of healthcare and technology.

This month we're featuring Bethany Friedrichsen. Bethany is a recent graduate from the University of Akron with an Associate’s Degree in Paralegal Studies and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology. Prior to joining the team, Bethany spent several years working as a paralegal in Cleveland and an escrow accounting assistant in Akron. After seeing first hand what it was like to have a loved one struggling with addiction, Bethany decided she wanted to do her part to make a difference in the Opioid Epidemic that is impacting so many lives and communities across the country.

In August, 2017, Bethany joined as a database administrator. She has had the opportunity to see grow from its infancy to the statewide initiative it is today. Now as a regional manager, she’s taken on a more crucial role in project and team development and has a strong desire to connect the caring community in Northern Ohio to help those struggling with addiction.

Bethany, her husband Jerrad, and their two cats live in Akron, Ohio. In her free time, Bethany enjoys playing and writing music on guitar and piano and listening to a wide array of podcasts on topics including comedy, religion, recovery, true crime, lifestyle and health.
