The Department of Health & Human Services (HHS) aims to make the government a welcoming partner for healthcare entrepreneurs. During Startup Day Cleveland HHS, the Department of Commerce, the FDA and others will open their doors to startups and entrepreneurs from across the country to provide a deep-dive into the programs and funding the government has in place to support the startup ecosystem. Startup Day Cleveland is the sixth stop on the Startup Day tour, following Boston and Washington, D.C. Eligible startups will have the opportunity to pitch their solution and receive feedback from government agency representatives. There is no fee to attend Startup Day Cleveland, but registration is required.

Learn how the US Health and Human Services Agencies & Offices – Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), Food and Drug Administration (FDA), National Institutes of Health (NIH), Office of the National Coordinator for Health Information Technology (ONC) and the US Commerce Department can work with startups and health entrepreneurs. The panel, moderated by HIMSS Government Relations, will tackle what these agencies are doing to drive innovation and support the delivery of HHS services.
